Honda Dominates AAA's Top Commuter Vehicle Picks

Three Honda vehicles recently made the top 10 commuter vehicle list released by AAA. Daily commutes are common in the US, with the average American traveling 41 minutes a day in a 22.5 mile round trip. AAA gathered a group of experts to review hundreds of vehicles rating them in the areas of practicality, safety, comfort, fuel efficiency and affordability.

The 2010 Honda Insight, Civic and Accord were all in the top 10 of the commuter vehicle category. At the top of the list was the fuel efficient Honda Insight. The vehicle also features roomy front seats and a price tag that won't break the bank. The Honda Civic ranked number six on AAA's list. This vehicle features a comfortable interior, an affordable price tag and for the adventurous driver a 197 horsepower SI model. At number nine was America's best selling sedan, the Honda Accord. The Accord is Honda's largest car, featuring a standard 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, outstanding safety ratings and generous room for all passengers.
