Glenn Askew's first job was as a mechanic, making him a valued employee at First Team Toyota. He was drawn into the car industry when "a young lady offered me a job to wash cars at her daddy's dealership." After the First Team family bought out his previous employer, Glenn decided to stay. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, going to the beach, working out and exercising, or cheering for his favorite teams Duke, the Redskins and the Mets.

Vance Doughty has been in sales since 1997 and with First Team since December 2010. Originally from Pocomoke City, Maryland, he is now a resident of Virginia Beach. In addition to being a movie buff, he enjoys spending his spare time working in his yard, shooting pool, going for drives in the car and eating at fine restaurants.

Pamela Farmer has been a Business Manager with First Team since June 2000. She has been married to her husband, Milton, "forever" and has three children: Kimberly, Shauna and Milton Gerrord. She is a grandmother to Kendra, N'dea, and Shaun Daniel and great-grandmother to Madison Raye born in March 2012. Born in North Carolina, she currently lives in Hampton. Her favorite things include listening to music, watching Lifetime movies, shopping, reading and spreading the Good News! She enjoys working with her church family on various projects and goals. She considers her greatest God-given gift to be able to offer and arrange financing for people with less than perfect credit who thought owning a Honda wasn't a possibility. She states that First Team Honda is a dealership where dreams really do come true!

Originally from Buchanan, Virginia, Frieda is the friendly face you see when you first walk in to First Team Honda. Having been in the car business since January 1997, she has learned while working at First Team Honda that they are a dealership that truly cares about people. When not visiting with family in friends or playing video games or reading a book, you can find Frieda rocking out to Nickleback, Nightwish or Adelle.

D.A. Young has been a Sales and Leasing Consultant with First Team Honda since 2001. Originally from Kannapolis, North Carolina, he has lived in Hampton Roads for over 30 years. Together with his wife, Bernetta, they have three girls, all of whom are in college. He proudly served 22 years in the U.S. Army National Guard and retired a few years after his tour in Desert Storm. With a strong belief in God, support from his family and a commitment to his customers, he has learned that in this business the most important thing to do is under promise and over deliver. In his free time, D.A. enjoys sports, jazz music, traveling and spending time with his family.

Rick Riddle has been a salesman at First Team Honda since 2004. He and his wife, Regina, live in Virginia Beach and have two sons, Daniel and Steven, and a daughter, Alexandra. In his spare time, he enjoys going out to dinner and attending concerts (his favorite genre is the blues) with family and friends. Rick's a big Redskins fan and American History/World War II and Cold War aficionado. He served in the U.S. Army for 8 years and then entered the family business in 1987 with Riddle Honda and Acura where he learned about the automotive business by working in the service, parts and sales departments. The most important thing he's learned? if you show people how much you really care, you will continue to earn their business.

First Team Honda employee Michael Lunceford, originally from Mountain City, Tennessee, discovered the car business back in 1974. Though he has learned much in his time here at First Team, he believes that the most important thing he has learned while working here is the importance of working together as a team. His time off is spent doing anything in or around the water and enjoying the sweet sounds of classic rock, easy listening, and country music.

Originally from Portsmouth, Janie Mathena is a valued asset here at First Team Honda. The first job she held was at GE. She got into the car business back in 1978, working at Bill Lewis Chevrolet, drawn to the car industry by the fact that there is always something new to learn. While at Bill Lewis Chevrolet, she learned about First Team.
Though she has learned much in her time here at First Team, she believes that the most important thing she has learned while working here is that the customers always come first. When not at work, her favorite things to do are going to the beach and spending time with her family. Her favorite music is whatever is currently being played on the radio station 2WD, while her favorite sport is racing.

Originally from Portsmouth, David Goodloe has been a happy member of First Team Honda for over 22 years! He got into the car business because his father owned a repair shop. Though he has learned much in his time here at First Team, he believes that the most important thing he has learned is to always make sure the customer is happy, above all else. When not at work, his favorite thing to do is hunt and his favorite music is country and southern rock.

Todd Marsalek has been an Assistant Service Manager with First Team Honda since December 2005. Originally from Jamestown, North Dakota, he currently resides in Suffolk with his wife, Marchelle. When he's not at work, Todd enjoys all sorts of outdoor recreation including: hunting, fishing and racing. Some of his favorite movies include The Book of Eli, The Last of the Mohicans and Dances with Wolves. His favorite books include: "I Will Lift Up Mine Eyes", "The Soul's Sincere Desire" by Glenn Clarke and "Crazy Love" by Francis Chan.
