2012 Honda Odyssey

The 2012 Honda Odyssey is introducing a lot of changes to the traditional eight-passenger minivan. Modern styling and cutting edge technology makes the Odyssey a whole new breed of minivan.

The new body design is the first change you may notice from the 2012 models. The "lightning bolt design" features a lower profile than older models. The look is sportier, especially with its rear roofline spoiler with integrated brake light. There are also integrated turn signals on the side mirrors for extra safety. The sporty design is complemented by eighteen-inch alloy wheels and a power tailgate and sliding doors that can be opened or closed from up to fifty feet away.

The interior of the 2012 Honda Odyssey features the latest technology, a luxurious sound system, and a wide variety of seat configurations to suit your every need. Standard features of the Odyssey include AM/FM/CD, an MP3/AUX jack, and MP3/WMA capability. A DVD player also comes standard in the Touring and Touring Elite versions, as well as the EX-L RES version. The audio system features a radio data system that displays station, song and artist info. Some models feature a CD library to record up to 2GB of your favorite CDs.

Other options for the Odyssey include a blind spot information system, a multi-angle rearview camera, and a satellite-linked navigation system. The Odyssey also offers simple conveniences to maximize comfort, such as a flip-up trash bag ring and lower storage with a cool box for drinks and snacks.

There are numerous seat configurations to choose from within the Honda Odyssey. The second row of seating slides forward 5.5 inches to allow easier access for the adults in the front row to attend to the passengers in the second row. The third row "Magic Seat" can be partially or completely tucked away inside the vehicle to accommodate luggage, strollers, or any other larger objects you may need to transport.

Every Odyssey has a 3.5 liter, V-6 engine with 248 horsepower. The Touring version also features a 6-speed automatic transmission.
